Michael Senzon

President of Digital at Allen Media Group

Michael Senzon serves as president of digital for Allen Media Group (AMG) and is responsible for developing and leading the AMG worldwide direct-to-consumer and streaming portfolio with a focus on providing greater content and product experiences for its users. His previous title was senior vice president, digital and general manager of Local Now, the AMG free-streaming digital platform. Senzon joined The Weather Channel/Weather Group just as Byron Allen completed its purchase in March 2018. Local Now has become a formidable competitor in the streaming arena, as the free-streaming platform has seen explosive growth in the past year.

Senzon is a digital executive with a successful track record of leading and evolving digital and social teams at major media organizations. Prior to joining The Weather Channel, he served as the head of video for CNBC, where he developed the strategy and built CNBC's digital and social video platforms. Senzon led the team to becoming number one in business video. Prior to CNBC, he built and led CNN’s first digital video team. He and his team received numerous awards, including an Emmy nomination, for their successful re-imagination of traditional video.

Senzon spent his early years rising through the ranks of CNN, starting first as an international desk assistant in 2002, producing for CNN TV and then taking the leap to digital in 2005 where he helped launch CNN Pipeline, CNN’s live streaming network. He spent years creating original segments for CNN's Digital platforms and has also dabbled as a web developer. Before joining CNN, he worked at ABC’s The View and CBS’s Late Show with David Letterman.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University.
