Heather Gundry
As the EVP, Head of Local Audio and Video Investment for Dentsu, Heather Gundry is very focused on process, procedure and partnerships while striving to produce excellent results in the local media space. Gundry brings 35 years of experience and is very fortunate to be working with an amazing local buying team at DentsuX, Carat, Media Storm and iProspect. On the forefront of new opportunities, she has helped develop and oversee the addressable television venture for clients, worked closely with data-driven audience intelligence opportunities, and she emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, strategizes the strength of local media with clients and established process long form video within the local spot department.
Over the course of her career in local broadcast, Gundry has managed investment in all categories including QSR, automotive, banking, communications and hospitality. Constantly looking to improve the industry of local spot, she has been involved with the 4A’s, which influences culture in advertising while moving the industry forward, Michigan Women in Advertising and the TVB, which promotes local media marketing solutions working with TV stations across the country. Additionally, she recently became involved with the Women in Advertising and Communication group in the Detroit market. Gundry lives in Northern Michigan with her husband Dan, three children and two golden retrievers.
