Rich Harrington

Rich is a visual storyteller exploring the fusion of photography, video, and Artificial Intelligence. Rich is a practiced expert in photography, motion graphic design, and digital video. Starting his career out in the world of broadcast journalism, Rich has always had a great interest in visual communications.  As a technical innovator, Rich has been at the forefront as digital photography and video have evolved over the past 25 years.  He has also grown into key roles in designing creative software and working with artificial intelligence.  Rich has helped shape many digital tools for companies like Apple, Adobe, Skylum, Radiant Imaging Labs, and Mylio. Rich is a certified instructor for Adobe and Apple and a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals Instructor Dream Team. He regularly speaks at conferences such as the National Association of Broadcasters, Photo Plus Expo, and Adobe MAX. He has been the Program Manager for the Post|Production World Conference since 2003. He has also written several books for the video industry, including An Editor's Guide to Adobe Premiere Pro, From Still to Motion, and Photoshop for Video. A Master's Degree in Project Management fills out Rich’s broad spectrum of experience. Rich enjoys Scouting, traveling, and digital photography, as well as teaching his kids the joys of science fiction and comic books.
